Q: How do I prepare Kehwah?
Just add hot water to a sachet, stir well, and sip. It’s that simple. No boiling, no long prep. You get the authentic Kashmiri flavor in under a minute.
Q: Can I add milk to Kehwah?
For Kesar or Kashmiri Kehwah: No, traditionally it’s had without milk.
For Noon Chai: Yes! Add warm milk and a pinch of salt for that signature pink color.
Q: What’s the difference between Kesar Kehwah and Kashmiri Kehwah?
Kesar Kehwah is a luxurious, golden brew with pure saffron, almonds, cinnamon and cardamom.
Kashmiri Kehwah uses a traditional blend that includes green tea leaves (green tea), giving it more body and complexity.
Both are rooted in the valley — one’s a hug, the other’s a story.
Q: Is this the same Kehwah that Kashmiris drink at weddings?
Yes! Especially the Kashmiri Kehwah, which is served at Wazwan feasts and weddings — often in a silver samovar, poured into little kulhads with crushed almonds on top. Our version makes that magic available anywhere, instantly.
Q: What tea do you use in your blends?
We use high-quality whole leaf Darjeeling green tea and black tea for Noon Chai. No dust-grade tea or extracts — only real leaves.
Q: What gives Kehwah its aroma?
It’s the natural combo of saffron threads, green cardamom, cinnamon bark, and almonds — slow-dried and crushed by hand in small batches. No added essence or perfumes.
Q: Why does my Noon Chai pink have baking soda?
Great question. The alkaline reaction between baking soda and black tea creates a deep crimson color, which turns pastel pink when milk is added — it’s science and tradition in a cup.
Q: Is your saffron real?
Absolutely. Our saffron is handpicked from Pampore, Srinagar — the saffron capital of India. Each thread is tested for purity and strength (we call it Grade-1).
Q: How do you make it “instant” but keep it authentic?
We developed a slow-dehydration process — inspired by our mother’s original kitchen trials — where each spice blend is dried, powdered, and balanced without preservatives or artificial flavors. It’s “instant” but still handcrafted in spirit.
Q: Can I return my order?
Since Kehwah is a food product, we don’t accept returns. But if your order is damaged, incorrect, or undelivered, we’ll replace it or issue a full refund.

Q: Is Kehwah safe for children?
Yes, in moderation. Our unsweetened variants are especially good for kids above 2 years. Always avoid Noon Chai for children under 5 because of its sodium content.
